Jacob Kingrey joined Proof PR in 2022. To his work at Proof, Jacob brings a wealth of knowledge of the food and beverage industry from over a decade working in the industry as a server and bartender; and a background in communications through his time working in the Ohio Senate as a legislative aide.

Born in Ohio, Jacob attended The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Communication before beginning his political career in the State’s capital.

During his time as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate, Jacob oversaw all communication efforts, leading numerous informational campaigns on policy and playing a part in the elections of the Senator’s he served.

Jacob has always been involved in the restaurant industry, beginning in high school working in his grandfather’s restaurant. He has a true passion for food and beverage and understands the ins-and-outs of what it takes to be successful in this tough industry.

Wanting to be closer to his family and the mountains, Jacob moved to Denver in 2019 where he worked in sales and in numerous hospitality positions prior to joining Proof PR.

Jacob lives in the Congress Park neighborhood with his partner Allison and their cat Sora. In his freetime, he enjoys exploring the backcountry of Colorado and finding the best bars and restaurants in Denver.
